My weekend

My weekend was so much fun! My parents were in Thailand so I didn't get to see them until Sunday, so I stayed home with my two aunts and two uncles. On Saturday we went bowling, again. I played against my brother and one of my aunts. I got one strike and three spares, my brother got one strike and three spares also, and my aunt got two strikes and three spares.
My aunt came in first place, my brother came in second and I came third. My other aunt and my two uncles played to gather too. After that we took showers and played Super Mario. Then we rested and had chicken for dinner.

On Sunday we all waked up to get my mom Mother's Day presents. I got her a pare of earrings, my brother her a necklace, and my sister got he some bath bombs and shampoo. A bath bomb is like soap in a ball, and if you drop it in a tub with water in it, it will explode.

When my parents got home from Thailand we went to a restaurant and had crab for dinner then went home, gave my mom our parents, and we went to bed.

Child Right - Education

Today i'm going to talk about the right that I chose. I chose education. Education is learning reading, writing, math, and knowledge. You can learn outside the school. Education takes place under the guidance of others, but students may also educate themselves by learning. Any experience on the way one thinks, feels, or acts may be considered educational.

If you can’t read, write, or do simple math, it is hard to find a good job, and people may take advantage of you. Without school, it is very difficult to escape poverty. Children who go to school get better jobs when they are older, they live longer, and are healthier.

Nearly all the estimated 275 million children who are not getting a basic education  live in the poor countries of Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa. These countries make up the developing world.

Here are some whys to help children have a good education:

Volunteer to teach - There are children in parts of the world who have no one to teach them to read or write. Why not volunteer and make a difference in a child's life?
Donate books & Literary Items - Resources are just as important. If a child does not have resources to learn, it is near impossible to learn. So go in your old closets and give away all useful literary material for better use.

My Weekend

My weekend was great. On Saturday, in the afternoon, we went to the arcade and met my brother's friend there (Justin). First I played a basketball game while my brother and Justin played air hockey.

Then we played a game were there is a ball and it will land on a color. You have to guess what color it will land on. Their are five colors, red, green, blue, yellow, and white. We won so, many tickets i'm guessing we won about 1,000 ticket. Then we played some other fun games after that and went back home. When we got home we played with our toys and had a Nerf gun fight. We also played Super Mario Bros with him then he went home.

On Sunday in the afternoon, my family and I went bowling. We got our shoes and balls and than we played. I played against my brother, and my sister, dad, and mom played against each other. I got one strike and four spares. The first game I won, then the second game my brother won, then the third game I won again. When we were done with that we had dinner and went home.

Fruit is better than candy

I believe that fruit is better than candy in a lot of ways. I think fruit is more healthy and it gives you energy. For example, candy can make you sick, it is bad for your teeth, and it has calories and sugar. But fruit is good for your brain, it has vitamins, and it has natural sugar.

Fruit is more healthy for you because it is natural, and it has no artificial sugar. It is juicy too. It has vitamins that are good for your body.

Sugar can make you fat but fruit is healthy and gives you energy. In the morning, it is better to eat than candy.
If you eat a lot of candy you can get sick and then die. But if you have fruit instead of candy you can get strong bones, it would be good for your brain, and it won't kill you.

Fruit also gives you energy. It is a good snack to have when you are hungry, it is sweet because it has natural sugar. In my opinion fruit is better than candy in a lot of ways.

Safe Guardians of the World

 Safe Guardians of the World

Today in the C.M.T (children musical theater), there was a play. It was about friendship, nature, and care, economy, society, and well being. I am only going to do the first chapter because I won't have time to do all the chapter. Chapter One. At the beginning there was a queen who was mean, selfish, and she always wanted more. Also there were poor people who were very hungry. One time they were talking then Robin Good came to help the poor people. What happened was the poor people wanted the rings and food the queen threw on the ground. Then the queen saw the people and started chasing them. When they were done the queen asked why the poor people were steeling her things. Then the poor people said because they were hungry that's when the queen got angry but luckily Robin Good talked to the queen about thinking of other people instead of thinking about herself and she agreed.

Geometry Project Reflection

I am proud of my geometry project because I worked really hard and a lot of people liked it. But maybe next time I could work more on speaking a little bit louder and making my project a little more interesting. Some people thought it was really cool and interesting.

I had fun making the project and when parents and students came to watch my class and I perform. I liked doing thing project because it was fun to do and I liked it when we brought our geometry project and performed. The tricky part was when I didn't know what to say. When I was doing my project my dad helped me presenting and my mom helped me with the slides, well, my dad helped me with the slides a little to.
